Delightful authentic Italian cafe! The freshly baked pastries and coffee at breakfast were so good that after visiting the castle we just had to come back for lunch!! Varied menu with freshly made specials like arancini, Italian imports and delicious gelato there's something for everyone. On a nice sunny day you can sit outside too. Had a lovely chat with the owner, felt very welcomed. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Stirling, prices are great value and food is excellent.
This place is amazing!!! The staff, the owner, the food, the coffee....just incredible. The fresh cakes and Pastries are so yummy! They also serve paninis and fresh pastas etc. Which are also great. It's a lovely relaxed atmosphere and you feel so welcome from the moment you walk in. We visit many times in a week.
I’ve been into Caffe Pompeii a few times now with several friends and I intentionally waited before posting a review, to see if the quality of service and food/drinks were as good as the first visit. The answer is a resounding yes! The food is all authentically Italian, the superb range of cakes, tortes, cheesecakes etc. are all imported directly from Italy and are absolutely fantastic. The coffee is also Italian, so you are experiencing genuine Italian fare here in the heart of Stirling. So, what makes it so authentic other than the produce being offered, well, the owner is Italian too, and he really cares about the experience that he is giving his customers. The caffe is bright and airy with comfortable seating, a simple clean space for meeting pals and relaxing with great food and drinks. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!

I've been here a year ago and I enjoyed it soo much that I had to take my friend here when we were visiting and she loved it as well! If I could give 10 starts I would. If you are in Stirling is a must stop for fresh lunch, homemade cake, great coffee or THE BEST ice-creams ever! The owner is a great guy and all his staff is friendly and welcoming. Thank you for businesses like this that make it worth eating out.
We are roaming around Stirling when we saw this shop. The shop's vibe was inviting and cozy. Even the owner himself was a welcoming presence, he didn't mind to give us a quick explanation of menu and the pastries displayed. We didn't regret stumbling to this shop, great food and best baked-goods!
Friendly staff provided great service. The sandwiches we ordered were hearty and delicious. The cannolis were scrumptious, we had to buy one of each! Highly recommend this caffe!
Found this cafe when I visited Stirling. The coffee and dessert were super tasty, and I also had seafood risotto and arancini for lunch. They were authentic and nice, reminding me my trip to Sicily. I also bought some cannoli for my family who enjoyed them greatly.
